Misha Harding – Civil Marriage Celebrant

I am delighted to write a testimonial for you and AQT.
As I live in country NSW. I had to decide whether to do my Certificate IV in Celebrancy on-line or travel to Sydney to undertake the AQT five-day course. Being an advocate of face-to-face forums, where one can benefit from a trainer’s wisdom and experience, I opted for the second option. I was very fortunate to find my trainer was Keith Lammond, who is a treasure trove of knowledge and whose teaching approach was first rate.
Not only did the 5 days provide the perfect framework for the studies that followed, Keith’s use of real-life situations gave me a broader picture, as well as the do’s, don’ts and how to’s that only actual experience can impart. His easy-going manner and quirky humour not only put everyone at ease from the start, his communication was clear, relevant, tailored to the individual needs in our group… and he made sure no-one was left behind.
We were provided with plenty of reference material and all left knowing Keith’s assurance he would be on hand once we returned home to start completing the Assessments, was a genuine one. As it turned out in my case life threw a few curved balls during my studies, yet just then an email would appear in my inbox from Keith asking how everything was going. I felt very backed and that feeling is something that can be as valuable as any course knowledge. Knowing I can contact Keith anytime as I build on my own experiences, and have him share from his wealth of knowledge, is also empowering. Many courses promise that kind of thing, but delivering that promise is variable, as shared with me by a few friends who undertook their accreditation elsewhere.
My choice of AQT was based on the course sizes being limited to small groups, along with the reviews on their website. My experience was positive and rewarding and I have no hesitation in recommending AQT and their star trainer Keith Lammond.
Many thanks and I look forward to future OPD training with Keith.
